English 5 and 6 are very similar courses -
They are divided into three parts.
1. The Classroom (weekly planning and participation)
2. The Assignments (they are on the left hand side of this page)
3. The National Test
Your grade in the course will be set depending on how well you perform in these different aspects of the course.

Week 35
This week we will be working with our article summary. (Assignment 2)

We will be in the computer room and also in the classroom. Some of you will be doing parts of the National Test, others will not be doing parts of the National Test.

I am hopeful that we can finish our article summary - a first draft at least, by the end of this week.

A great way to increase your vocabulary is to learn that nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs often contain the same root- word. This means that one word can possibly be used many times by changing the ending - Watch this video and see what I mean!

Tuesday: We will be continuing with National Test Practice
Thursday: I will not be in school - Please work with your assignments
Friday: We will be conducting some speaking practice this morning. Whilst practicing our speaking, we will try to correct our grammer and become more comfortable with the speaking test environment. The worksheet we will be using is available for download below.
